Terms of Service
This document is a standard-SaaS template provided for product preview. It has not been reviewed by counsel and is not final, binding legal terms. Reviewed Terms and a Privacy Policy will be published before any real account or customer data is accepted.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Scalty AI Studio (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.
2. The service
Scalty AI Studio lets you connect data, fine-tune open-weight models, deploy them behind an OpenAI-compatible prediction API, and meter usage. The Service is provided on a pay-as-you-go basis and evolves as the product develops. We do not guarantee that any specific model, base weight, or data-source connector will remain available indefinitely, and we may change or discontinue features on reasonable notice.
3. Your data & models
You retain ownership of the data you upload and the model weights you train. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service — storage, validation, training, serving, and metering. You may export your trained weights (adapters, merged safetensors, or GGUF) at any time; leaving is always possible. We do not use your data or your private weights to train models for other customers.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully. In particular, you agree not to:
- circumvent metering, rate limits, security controls, or tenant isolation;
- resell raw Service capacity as your own general-purpose model API without a separate agreement; or
- access or scrape the Service other than through the documented API.
4.1 Prohibited content
You may not generate, upload, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or that violates the rights or privacy of others; content that sexually exploits minors; or content that facilitates violence, harassment, malware, or the development of weapons.
4.2 Content moderation
Automated moderation runs on training data and on inference. It may block, quarantine, or refuse work that trips these rules, and repeated or severe violations may lead to suspension. Moderation operates at the category level and does not surface the specific content that triggered a block beyond what is necessary to explain it. Abuse controls are separate from billing — a blocked request is not a billed prediction.
5. Billing
The Service is metered, with no subscription tiers and no per-seat fees. You are billed for the usage your organization runs — training minutes and launches, tokens, predictions, and stored bytes — at the rates published on our pricing page. Each billing period includes a monthly usage credit; usage beyond that credit and beyond any overage allowance you set may be charged to your payment method. Usage figures are derived from our usage ledger, which is the system of record for what you owe. Taxes may apply, and prices may change on prospective notice.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your organization at any time; deletion removes your datasets, model artifacts, and knowledge bases. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated breach of these Terms, for abuse, or where required by law, with notice where practicable. On termination you remain responsible for usage already incurred, and you should export any weights you wish to keep before deleting your organization. Provisions that by their nature survive termination — ownership, acceptable use, billing for prior usage, and limitations of liability — continue to apply.
